ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE
The Architectural Committee meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings take place at the VCH Fire Station (2610 Cartwright Road) located at the corner of Cartwright Road and Lousetown Road. The meetings are open to property owners, representatives and/or invited guests.
FEE SCHEDULE
( FEE SCHEDULE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2023 )
The fee schedule* is established to offset Committee operating costs and costs associated with increased traffic, possible damage caused to Association roads by deliveries of heavy construction equipment and construction materials. Payment of fees shall be by cash or check made payable to the VCHPOA and shall be due upon approval of planned Improvements by the Committee.
A. Residences, including attached garages: $5000.00
Explanation of Fee: A total fee of $5000.00, $4800.00 of which is payment for the impact of construction upon the roadways and
$200.00 of which is an application fee to cover the expenses of the committee.

B. Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU): $5000.00
C. Additions, Barns, Detached Garages and Outbuildings: $200.00

D. Solar & Wind Structures: $100.00
E. Decks, covered porches, open-sided horse shelters and sheds: $100.00
F. All other Improvements including but not limited to outbuildings smaller than 100 square feet, residing, re-roofing, fences,
corrals, breezeways, window greenhouses, gazebos, awnings and repainting with new or existing colors must be submitted to the
Committee for approval. No fee shall be levied.

*The above fee structure is applicable to rebuilding of Improvements following destruction by fire or by other causes.
LOOKING TO GET YOUR PROJECT APPROVED?

We do not provide Architectural Committee Approval Forms in digital format or provide forms prior to a meeting. All necessary forms must be filled out in person during a meeting.
All projects are approved in person at the Architectural Committee meetings. Approvals are not given online.
Before starting your project, review the Architectural Guidelines to ensure your project meets the requirements set forth in the Guidelines.

Before moving/removing dirt on your undeveloped lot, whether to gain general access or to drill a well, You must contact the Storey County Building Department to see if you require a Grading Permit.

All plans and specifications for any improvements (including fences) require the written approval of the Architectural Committee before any such work is commenced.

If projects are completed and approval was not received, fines may be issued for violations of the CC&R's or Architectural Guidelines.
Required Items Needed for Project Approval
Owners or Owner Agents must sign the approval form. Owner Agent must have written permission from Owner to be the acting Agent and to sign forms. All plans, forms and monies must be present in order to receive approval. No Committee Member will be allowed to conduct business from his or her home. All submissions must be complete and on the correct form at the time of submission.
